Bill Preston

Bill brings a wealth of knowledge from diverse experiences to the Underwriting Specialists team. In 2005, Bill acquired his Life and Health License and shortly thereafter his Securities Series 6 & 63; beginning his career in Financial Services. In 2008 he was hired at Underwriting Specialists to provide life marketing support, eventually became Marketing Director.

Before choosing a career in Financial Services, Bill's professional history included six years as an independent restaurant owner, as well as eight years in retail sales, marketing and management. These experiences give Bill an edge in his ability to understand situations that others may have difficulty.

Bill’s educational qualifications include a B.A. degree from Eastern University in the discipline of Organizational Management. This program also included a completed Thesis Study specific to Small Business Planning & Management. Bill concluded his studies at The American College, receiving his Chartered Life Underwriter Certification in 2013. These qualifications provide Bill with in-depth knowledge of insurance needs of individuals, families and business owners, as well as the ability to provide expert advice on a broad range of topics, including life and health insurance, pension planning, insurance law, income taxation, investments, financial and estate planning as well as group benefits.

A lifelong resident of Delaware County, Bill resides in Havertown, PA with his wife, Susan, and their children, Kelly and Danny.
